Obituary of John Bruno Trombly
November 7, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Dewey and Esther Trombly; brother, Herbert D. Trombly; sisters, Mary E. Carter and Julie A. Green. Survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Jean M. (Duffy) Trombly; children: Patricia J. (David) Pogue of W. Henrietta, NY, Kathleen M. Moffett of Dallas, TX, Suzanne E. Bosworth of Scotia, NY, Janine M. (Robert) DiCarlo, of Rochester, NY, John B. (Kimberly) of Williamson, NY; grandchildren: Melanie (Omar) Phillips and Darrell (Sally) Pogue, Dustin, Darcy, Dani and Derrick (Melissa) Moffett, Julie Baudy and Heather Trombly, Sophie, Nicholas and Patrick DiCarlo, Ryan and Evan Trombly; 11 great - grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth J. Poitras of Plattsburgh, NY; sister in-law, Isabel Trombly of Commack, NY; brother in-law, Gillis "Loy" (Penny) Green; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a dedicated employee of the Burnt Hills- Ballston Lake Central Schools serving as a teacher and administrator for 39 years. A kind and generous heart led him to a life of service and a devotion to family and children that knew no bounds.

John's Funeral Mass will be held THURSDAY 10 AM in St. Marianne Cope Parish at Good Shepherd, 3318 East Henrietta Rd., Henrietta, NY 14467. Interment Ascension Garden.
