Obituary of Jon W. Spangler

Jon W. Spangler Died peacefully, November 14th at home surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace George Spangler & Mae Marie (Hallberg) Spangler; sister, Hilda Marie Sekel; nephew, Paul. He is survived by his wife, Erika A. Spangler; daughter, Eveline “Evie” of NC; brother, Carl David (Gloria) Spangler; brother-in-law, Doodie Sekel and nieces. Jon served in the U.S. Army, May 1953 - November 1957, stationed in Germany where he met his wife. He relocated to Rochester from PA in 1969 after accepting a position as an Ultrasonic Technician for Kodak until his retirement in 1991. He then worked at Sears for 10 years. Services and Interment will be held privately.
