Dominick F. Acquilano
Passed peacefully on November 17, 2015 at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Rose Marie (DeMuzio) Acquilano in 2007, and his twin brother Samuel Acquilano in 1994. He is survived by his 5 children, Anthony Acquilano of Boca Raton, Florida, Sharon (Lou ) DeGuarde of Fishers, NY, Donna (Owen Leslie) Acquilano of Evergreen, Colorado, Carol (Thomas Ferrarone) Acquilano of Rochester, NY, Thomas (Annette) Acquilano of Rochester, NY; eight grandchildren, Ashley Acquilano, Heather (Kevin) Cahill, Dominick Leslie, Gina Leslie, Samuel Leslie, Sarah Acquilano, Virgil Acquilano, MaryJane Acquilano; sister, MaryJane Duskie of Florida; brothers, Joseph Acquilano of Macedon, NY, and Anthony “Sonny” Acquilano of Rochester, NY; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Dominick was born in Geneva, New York, and grew up in Tory Park. He was part of "The Greatest Generation" and served in WWII. He had great success in pursuing the American Dream and, through his business, touched the lives of many, and provided opportunities to countless others who, without him would have led vastly different lives. In addition to the family that he loved, his accordion and music brought him tremendous joy.
Family and friends are invited to call on FRIDAY, November 20th from 1-3 and 6-9 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Funeral Services will be held on SATURDAY, November 21st at 10AM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. Click for a Map to the Cemetery
