Obituary of Vincent Leonardi

Went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents, Carlo and Marietta Leonardi: his sister Norma Santucci. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jeanne; his children Christopher Leonardi (Valerie), Carl Leonardi (Gina) and Kathryn Salamone (Anthony). His dearly loved grandchildren, Marlena, Abigail, Carlee, Christian, Sienna and Mya; sisters, Ada (Frank) Ferrari, Gina Iezzi (Peter); many nieces and nephews. Vince came from a humble background arriving from Celano, Italy in 1949 and truly realized the American dream. He was a graduate of St. John Fisher College. He was a local businessman who celebrated 50 years in the insurance business. He loved providing caring service to his clients, their children & grandchildren. He was a family man who adored his wife & children. Vince was an avid cyclist & enjoyed riding the Erie Canal path & the Pinellas Trail in Florida. Family and friends are invited to call on SUNDAY, 2-6 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd S View Map). Vince's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated MONDAY, 10 AM at the Marianne Cope Parish at St. Joseph's Church (1209 Rush West Rush Rd View Map ). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his parish in support of the St. Marianne Cope Hymnal Project in Vince's memory.
