So sorry for your loss Jerry & Debby. He & my Mom had 6 wonderful years together. They made each other very happy. She is very sadden by his loss. In those 6 years he has become a very special part of our family.. He was a very funny & wonderful person always had something to harass our kids about & have taught them all sorts of great things.. We will miss all the ball games & Nascar races we enjoyed together on Sundays & especially the games when the Yankees played the Red Soxs.. Our family will miss him very much & he will always be a part of our family & in our hearts...

Ron always brought the fresh corn to our clam bake in early Sept. He would meet a farmer in the field in Rush and drive 2 bags up to Cranberry Lake. Best corn of the year. We shall miss the corn but miss Ron much more. RIP Sonny!

One of my most memorable times with Ron was out in the middle of Cranberry Lake, stars shinning brightly, below zero and we stop our snow sleds. Of course he was leading being the alpha dog type of guy that he was. Ron reaches into his left inside snowmobile jacket pocket and pulls out ring of Crogan bologna. Reaches in right inside pocket pulls out Dr McGillicuddy. He cut me a piece of bologna with his pocket knife and handed me the bottle. He looked up in the sky and said how beautiful this place is. You need to stop once in a while and look at it. I always recall that moment when I think about Ron.

In 1988, my father and I purchased our first snowmobile from Ron. He became a great friend to my parents (Clint and Pat) and my friend too. We bought many more snowmobiles, lawn mowers and snow blowers. He would lead us on rides, usually getting lost, but ultimately finding his way. Great times at Ralphies watching NASCAR or sitting on the "Thinking Log" after we put his docks in. We have our own Thinking Log" at Cranberry. I will always remember Ron when sitting on it. My condolences to his family.

On sledding adventures with Pearl in the mountains to the "east side of nowhere" when asked were we are ?
Ron would say - do you know where Tupper Lake is ... How about Old Forge ? answering yes I know where that is .
He would smile slyly and say - We are no where near there.... He will be missed

Ron was an important part of my business, having bought numerous pieces of equipment from him. The service his company, Brooks-Gravley, provided was the best in the county. It was a sad day when he closed the business, but even sadder now. Sincere sympathies to his family.

Ron and I go a long way back. We traveled, snowmobiled, and went to many car races together. Brook-Gravely was the source of many of my pieces of equipment including the tractor we brought with us to Florida for the marina. He was my friend for life and I will miss him. My condolences to the family.
