Irma Kocsis
Born on December 28, 1926 in Papa, Hungary, and went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2016. Irma left Hungary with her aunt and uncle, Karoly and Gizella Balatoni, her nieces, Ildiko and Elizabeth, in 1956 during the Revolution. Arriving in Rochester January 1957. Irma is survived by her niece Elizabeth (Bill) Yanick of Cleveland, Ohio.
Irma was an active member of the Hungarian Club of Rochester, New York. She loved to bake Hungarian pastries. Her specialties were nut horns, nut and poppy-seed rolls, and of course strudels. She would make couple dozen strudels for the annual Hungarian picnic each year. They were so good, and they always went fast. We will miss you and your baking, Irma.
Irma retired from Kodak. She will be missed by all of her friends. God rest her soul. We love you.
