Obituary of Dale James Chamot

Died Suddenly on March 16, 2016. Predeceased by grandson Evan Thomas. Survived by his loving wife, of 50 years, Carmella; sons, Christopher (Linda), Tim (Lori), Tom (Cindy), and daughter Michelle; grandchildren, Jim, Dave, Kyle, Greg, Garrett, Stephanie, Danielle, Emily,Ethan, Parker and Abby. Jim led a very diverse life in both his professional careers; as a technical writer, teacher, draftsman, entrepreneur, and auto appraiser, and in his personal life. He had many hobbies including volunteering his time in both EMS and fire service. Jim was a lifetime Scouter in the Boy Scouts. He served as a Communion Minister in his church. Jim’s favorite past time was to travel with his wife, together, they visited many new and exciting places. Jim’s favorite way to spend the Christmas Holidays was spreading joy to thousands of children as Santa. Calling hours will be Sunday (March 20, 2016) from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (March, 21, 2016) at 2:00 pm at St Mary of the Assumption Church (99 Main Street, Scottsville, NY). Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AutismUp, (180 Linden Oaks, Rochester NY 14625) in his memory...
