Obituary of Russell G. Sorensen

Russell G. Sorensen, age 79, passed away on March 16, 2016 following a brief hospitalization. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack & Esther Sorensen. Russ is survived by his daughters, Amy Miller & Kira Sorensen; their mother, Ellen; grandson, Jacob Miller; sister, Gail Hiestand; nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Russ graduated from Charlotte H.S., studied teacher education at Buffalo State, and worked as an industrial arts teacher and machinist in the Rochester area. He enjoyed wood working, automotive restoration & mechanics, hunting, photography, environmental conservation and animals. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
