Obituary of John B. Henderson

March 23, 2016. Predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen and grandson Alex. Survived by his wife, Mary Jane Whitney; children, Michael (Colleen), David (Elizabeth) and Gary (Chris); 5 grandchildren; brother, Richard (Fran); sister, Heather Rusaw; nieces, nephews and many friends. John was a kind and gentle man with a devoted and loving wife, Mary Jane. John was very proud of his three sons. He worked for Rochester Gas & Electric for 36 years. John was a Scotsman who played the bagpipes for 47 years with the City of Rochester Pipe Band. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Damascus Shrine Temple. Thank you to all of John's caregivers at The Highlands at Pittsford's Living Center. Friends and family may call SATURDAY April 2nd from 12-2 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Rd. S (SEE MAP) where his Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm. Interment private.
