Obituary of Elizabeth (Schabel) Meade

Betty went to be with Jesus 5/6/16 after a courageous battle with MS, pneumonia & flu. Predeceased by her parents, Max & Frieda Schabel. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Glenn; sons, Philip & Douglas (Kristine); grandsons, Nicholas & David, his mother, Monica; granddaughter, Michelle; brother, Karl (Carole) Schabel, nephews, Edward (Molly) & Steven (Brenda) and their children; brother in law, Robert (Althea) Meade; sisters in law, Marian (Terry) Opela & Janet (David) Reagon and their extended families; cousins in New England & Germany; many wonderful friends. Family and friends may call on FRIDAY (5/13/16) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Miller Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). Betty's Memorial Service will be held SATURDAY (5/14/16), 11:00 AM at Brighton Presbyterian Church (1775 East Avenue). Interment will be private.
