I have been thinking about my Great-Uncle Bob a lot recently and am sad to hear of his passing. I remember many Christmas's looking forward to his and Aunt Dorothy's arrival. They always brought something special for us kids, which we very particularly happy about. It was usually the only gift we could open on Christmas Eve, making it even more special and anticipated. Bob has been a wonderful uncle to us and a great uncle to our children. He and Dorothy have taken our sons, when they were young, to their property many times and spent quality time with them there. Bob was always ready to talk about his hunting and fishing experiences with our children so they could learn about those sports. When our children were young, Bob and Dorothy visited and brought treats and Christmas gifts -- We really appreciate this kindness and will not forget him.
