The obit has it exactly right. Bob was one-of-a-kind. I first met Bob when we were classmates at Monroe High School. He joined us in the honor program and he was so full of life and always ready to engage. In every which way. I finished high school in 1963 and Bob spent his senior year at West. Another story for another day. Our paths then split and I did not see him again until September 1969 on my first day at Harvard Law School. I went into the bookstore/dry cleaning business in the student commons and whom do I see? Bob of course. Bob, is that you? Elia, is that you? I learned to my amazement that he was not only a law student, like me, but running the booksotre/dry cleaning shop. I wasn't surprised at the entrepreneurial part. Nor was I surprised that he was a fellow student. Bob was always bright, engaging, ready to debate on virtually any subject. He was well-read and kind as could be. After law school our paths diverged again and I didn't see him until 2013 when we had our 50th high school reunion. It was as though nothing had changed. Bob was enthusiastic and as engaging as ever. I am sorry we have lost a great one. Rest In Peace, Bob, we miss you. Elia Weinbach
