Dear PJ, just finding out the news as I left for vacation just before Christmas. Agnes was indeed a remarkable woman who raised a remarkable daughter. I wished I had a chance to say goodbye, but I know she knew always how much I admired her and deeply cared about her. Thanks for sharing your memories with us and may God always be with you. I know she is watching over us. Sincerely,
gpv

Dear PJ,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I wish I had the chance to meet her and your dad, or "Agnes and Clifford", as you so affectionately referred to them. Your stories about them are truly heartwarming. They were so blessed to have you, Gus, Judy, and Tom to ensure that their final years were filled with love, happiness, and dignity. Now Agnes and Clifford are resting in peace together with little Kylie. Although Christmas-time has brought sadness to your family for several years now, I hope the thought of your parents and Kylie resting in peace together will brighten this holiday and holidays to come. Thinking of you. Love always,
Gayle

We miss you mom. Judy and I are going through your treasures and finding all kinds of fun things like the kimono that dad sent you from Hawaii during WWII and the small jewelry box containing the tiny religious icons that belonged to your mother. Its a good think that you wrote little notes to attach to these keepsakes so we would know why they are special! Also, we found the poems to each of us thanking us for taking such good care of you. We did so with bunches of love. How clever to hide the poems in your sock drawer! We also found some clothes of ours that you saved from our high school days. Yikes, how frugal up to the end! Its been a week now, and we can't believe its real yet. However, we know you missed dad more than you let on and we are happy that you are together again. We have your WWII flags side by side too and of course, you will always be together in our hearts. Love you bunches and bunches!

Dear PJ, Gus and Judy. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a wonderful lady, your mother. I truly believe she is in a beautiful place now with your Dad, free of the confines of an elderly body. Cherish the many loving years you had with her. She will be in your heart always. Love to you all, Sarah
