Emily was one of my best friends, and although I am sad that our time with her was cut short, I rejoice with her, because I know that she is with Jesus. Her faith and love for Him remained strong through her suffering, and because of God's faithfulness, we can be sure that he has brought her home. I love you Emily!

I worked with Emily at the Charter School in Malden, MA. She was a great person whom the school missed greatly after she left. I hope you, as her family, can take solace in all the great things people have said about her and know what a great person she truly was. My condolences to you.

To the family of Emily Rose I am sorry for your loss I had the priveledge to work with Emily at Mystic Valley we shared a classroom. Emily was a kind, caring and genuine teacher she worked hard and did all she could to make sure her students excelled. Emily touched the lives of so many. Here is Emily riding a trolley to celebrate a friend's wedding. This was in the summer of 2008. The wedding was for a friend she met in the Boston Teacher Residency program. I remember seeing how happy she looked to be there. It was a fun night.

I have thought so often of dear Emily since I last saw her at Martha's a year or so ago.
Emily was a wonderful young woman whom I had the pleasure of meeting several times
so full of joy for life and her relationship with her grandmother was very rich for both of them..

Emily was a valued colleague of mine at MVRCS. She was dedicated and worked wonders with those kids who needed a little extra love. She continued to foster those kids that were once mine in 1st and 2nd grade. We were able to work out incentive plans for them and share book buddies once a week. Full of life and a kind heart deep in spirit.....she will be missed. God Bless!
