Mrs. Cobb, you aimed to humiliate me in my first grade class (1989-1990, Floyd Winslow Elementary). Despite your verbal abuse and telling me I would never amount to anything, I am a college professor. May you find solitude in the afterlife, and I hope you learn how to treat people with respect

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, a beautiful woman in mind and spirit. Unfortunately, I known sooner, I would have participated in Marcia's services. It has been an extended period of time since we spent time together, pondering over a golf shot, sharing laughs, or a bite to eat, but I fondly remember her laughter, love for her family and life, and positive thoughts. She truly was a woman of substance and one I enjoyed spending time with, when we were able to.
My sympathies to Jim, their children, grandchildren and other family members. Her legacy, in part, was obviously her love for those close to her, as well as the brightness she gave to others. She shall be missed.

So sorry to hear of Mrs.Cobb's passing. She taught in the elementary I attended. I have fond memories of her, although I did not have her as a teacher. May the family find peace and comfort during this very difficult time.

I have such fond memories of Marcia. We were "roommates" at Wilmot Cancer center in 2013. We were both teachers, knew some of the same adults and their children, whom she taught. But most of all, we liked to play jokes on the nurses that took care of us. We left signs saying "Gone Fishing", Made an Utter out of the latex gloves for a sign say we were having an "Utterly" good time etc. I hope this brings a smile at this difficult time for all of you.
Marcia was a very special lady. My life was enriched from knowing her. I am sure that this is true for anyone who was fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Sincere condolences to Marcia's family.
Marcia taught all three of my children. In addition, her class was pen-pals with my first grade class (in Pittsford) until she retired. Marcia shared so many teaching ideas; she was a wonderful role model and a true professional!
May her memory be for a blessing.

I grew up with Marcia and her family and always adored seeing her, hearing her stories and visiting her over the years when I am back in Rochester to see my own mother. As neighbors we spent a lot of time together and I respected her tremendously for her courage, grace and positive attitude no matter what she was going through.
She was so proud of her kids and extended family and had a wonderful home to visit. I'll miss her smile and warmth and send my love to the family. I wish I could be there this Friday but am unable to travel in time to make it. Please know that I am there in spirit and send my love to all of you.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Marcia was a treasure. I had the utmost respect and admiration for her during our time as colleagues at Winslow elementary school. But mostly, I always considered her a friend. May the many special memories that all of you hold close help to sustain you during this difficult time and may those memories bring a smile to your faces. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

As I reflect on the life of Marcia Cobb, I remember a truly thoughtful, generous, loving, happy, sincere woman who gave freely all she had in herself for her Family and Friends. I know how proud she was of her entire family, and she deserved so much credit in working hard to ensure their successes in life. My Family loved her, we will miss her, and wish we could be there to honor her...
