Obituary of Elvin Richard Cordingley

Passed away on June 9, 2016, at the age of 83 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents, Elvin and Olive Cordingley and sister, Ruth Champion. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth N. Cordingley; daughters, Laura Cordingley (Tom Fitzpatrick, Jr.), Karen (Joseph) Ryan, Deborah Cordingley (James Fustaino), Susan (Harold) Hargrave, Nancy (Elton) Cordingley Ball; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dick was a Chief Warrant Officer and served for 22 years in the US Navy as a deep sea diver and engineer. He enjoyed many hobbies. Family and friends are invited to call on SUNDAY from 2 – 6 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). Dick's Funeral Service will be held on MONDAY at 11 AM at Faith Lutheran Church (2576 Browncroft Boulevard). Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
