Howie was a man of many talents. One of which was being a good friend to all. He will be missed by many and touched many lives. He always enjoyed having me help him work around his home. In the end I repaid the favor by enjoying being with him and hearing his many stories in his last days. There was a time when after hearing his stories numerous times, I wished he would just stop for a minute and let someone else talk. Now I would do anything to hear those stories one more time. I loved this man. He was a second father to me. Not many people have the opportunity to have two dads in their lives. I was very blessed. I will miss him.
