Dear John (and Laurie), I just finished reading online of your dear mom's passing, and would like to extend to you my deepest condolences for your loss. I do remember meeting your mom years ago when I spent the day/night at your family home there in Henrietta with Lee & Carolyn. If I remember right, your mom had put together and brought over dinner and dessert for us... so sweet and so kind. Lee had mentioned to me last November that your mom was ill, and that it was becoming more difficult for you & your wife to keep her safe and secure at home. I'm positive though that you did your very best in trying to keep her happy, smiling, feeling loved, and as healthy as possible, but I see that you eventually had to relinquish her care to an assisted living facility. From what I understand, Brentland Woods is a very caring, compassionate, and beautiful community, and I'm sure your mom felt very comfortable there. You did good John... your mom was very fortunate to have a son (and daughter-in-law) like yourself. She's now safe in God's hands, and reunited with her dear husband, your dad. May heaven embrace Jean, and may the love of God surround you John, along with your family and friends. With sympathy & friendship... ~ Steve Lamb
