Lisa and Family,
We were so sad to hear the news of Don's passing. I so clearly remember how much Matt adored him as a Viola teacher - and the son Don sang at his last concert at Winslow. We saw him in Flanagans Wake - and were just amazed at his talent. My sister in law was a good friend of his in high school as well. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Donald touched so many lives.......his memory will live on forever to those who knew him, and family and friends who loved him! I was a year ahead of Donald at Rush-Henrietta. He was someone who lived life to the fullest, and used his God given gifts to teach, entertain, and inspire! Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

Dear Lisa and children. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Don is one of the most thoughtful men we know, and we are proud to call him our Friend. When our son Richard Matthew passed on 21 years ago it was Don that came to our home and asked if we would like him to sing at Richard Matthew's Memorial Service at Church He sang " Over the Rainbow ". A few weeks before Christmas of last year our beautiful daughter Courtney passed on, it was Don again who asked if he could be part of her Memorial Service and he sang" You Raise Me Up" Now he is singing with the Angel's Choir. He will be missed and thought of often.

I was so sad to hear about Don. I remember him from high school. His influence and encouragement prompted me to join the Sperry theater group in school. This experience has never left me and provided value to those years which without I probably would have left H.S. My deepest prayers and thoughts to all his family.

Lisa and family,
I am so sorry about your loss. I am sending you lots of prayers and love. Don was such an inspiring teacher and music director. When I think of Don I remember his love and appreciation for the Calvary St. Andrew's choristers and church members. His generous and warm spirit - all the times, over 9 or 10 years, when we gathered with spouses at your home for delicious potluck dinners to celebrate the end of another year singing together. I also remember his zany sense of humor, his versatile tenor solo singing voice from opera to the american country and folk and all the John Ruder pieces.
