Survived by daughters, Patricia (Ronald) Ball & Beverly (Anthony) Angotti; son, Alfred Newell, Jr.; loving companion, Emilie Manzler; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. A WWII Veteran, serving the 7th Infantry Division (Tech Sgt.) in the Pacific Theatre. A recipient of the Combat Infantry Badge & the Bronze Star. Served 28 years with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Retiring in 1978 as a Major. Longtime Member of Grace Episcopal Church, American Legion Post 11825, SOAR & APPALER.
