Obituary of Sonya N. Seetharam

We are grieving the tragic loss of our smiling, loving, beautiful & kind daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, co-worker, and neighbor, Sonya Nimi Seetharam. We pray for her soul, and that God gives us all the strength and courage to bear this unbearable loss. She was Raju and Sudha's 23 year-old young daughter, and she tragically left us on August 7, 2016. Sonya lived in Pittsford most of her life, and graduated from the local high school. She attended Keuka College and Monroe County Community College and had aspirations of becoming a nutritionist. Most recently, she worked as a Sales Associate at The Apple Store. Sonya loved her family & friends, and was always willing to offer a helping hand whenever needed. She always greeted you with a hug and warm smile on her face. She loved music, hanging out with her friends, and going to concerts. She had a knack for interior decorating, and often changed configuration of things in her bedroom. She loved all animals, but especially her dog, Bailey, & her cat, Morris, who she now joins. We will be holding a Memorial Service to celebrate and remember her life on Saturday, 8/13/16, from 11 am to 2 pm at Woodcliff Resort & Spa in the Grand Ballroom. We invite all to join. Sonya was fortunate to live in such a wonderful community, and have such loving friends, neighbor's, co-workers, and family. We ask you to light a candle & wish her special Happy Birthday this Monday, 8/15, when she would have been 24 years old. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be given to Lollipop Humane Society, an animal rescue and rehabilitation organization. The arrangements are as follows: Private cremation will be held for immediate family and friends from 11 am to 12 pm. We will have small religious ceremony with few prayers. Please note space and parking is limited at crematorium, so carpooling would be helpful.
