I loved Bud, and will always love his passion for beauty, justice and true joy. Having sung at church with him many times, I have every reason to believe that he is singing his heart out right this very minute. I pray to be as dedicated to living, loving and giving as sincerely as Bud was. That dedication flew him right into the arms of God and everlasting peace. Our newest angel ... we love you and know you are there.
Ann Grace and Karen, may memories of your dad bring the tears and joy of love truly shared all your lives.
Blessings, Kathy Welch

I'm so sad to have to say goodbye to such a wonderful man. Bud was a longtime congregant at my church and one of the first people I met there. His enthusiasm for life and love for his fellow man were always evident. He had a ready smile and kind word for everyone and was always willing to go the extra mile to help someone in need. He made me and my spouse feel loved and welcome all the time, telling us what a great couple we made and how much he enjoyed seeing us together. Bud loved to sing (he was good, too!), and we served in the choir together. There will never be another like Bud. God bless and keep Bud's family until you meet him again in Heaven.

Dear Family and Friends,
My deepest sympathy in the passing of your father, grandfather, uncle, et. el. He was a wonderful man whom I had the pleasure of meeting and singing with through the Spirit Singers choir. I know he will be missed by so many people. I will certainly miss his smiling face at services that he was able to attend. Peace and love to all of you,

Bud was a lovely man who supported LGBT rights - I remember him attending a fundraiser for Assemblyman Harry Bronson's election campaign at our clinic in 2012. He was a light in the room, I'll remember him fondly.
With Sincere Condolences,
Colin

Bud was an angel to us and showed us so much love over the last fifteen years of knowing him. We are so sorry for your loss and I'm so grateful we found this page to honor him and reach out to his family. We will miss him and are so grateful for our fond memories. I hope you can find our cd "Songs for the Spirit" and play "It is Well". It was his favorite. xo

My and chuck's condolences on the passing of our dear friend Bud...he will be sadly missed. One of the fondest memories we have is when Bud wished to meet our foreign exchange student "Bill" from China about 4 years ago. Bud drove to our cottage on Lake Ontario and we spent a delightful afternoon, just the 4 of us..he loved Bill and kept us entertained all afternoon. Bud was one of a kind.!....Tony Perri

Hi Ann and Karen and family, I was shocked and saddened by the passing of your dad, Bud was a very dear friend of mine for the past 20 years. He often spoke of his loving daughters, family, and grandchildren. He was very proud of all of you, your accomplishments, and also how he felt endeared by your love for him and how mutual that was. Bud was very generous to me over the years inviting me to Jason and Demarco concerts, and other theater events. Last year my husband Gerry(from Ireland) and I took him to Mendon Ponds Park and out to lunch in Honeoye and we had a delightful time. Also, Bud and I attended a theatre event at RIT lat year. I had the privilege of attending his 80th birthday party which was so classy and a great party.
I could go on and on! Bud was such an important part of the Spiritus Christi community. Our friendship blossomed there and continued through the years. I helped him move in at St. John's Meadows and I know he enjoyed living there and being part of the community there. Whenever Bud and I would meet and/or talk over the phone I enjoyed his wit, honesty, spirituality, and his great sense of humor.
Simply stated, he was the Best. Gerry and I will miss him so much. But we will never forget all the good times and great memories we've shared together. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family with our deepest sympathy. Our prayers are with you all. Love, Patrick and Gerry

I knew Bud for many years at Spiritus and sang with him in our Spirit Singers choir for a long time. He was a wonderful, loving, kind and gentle man. He also worked with my son for justice issues and was very supportive of what is right for all. Thank you, Bud, for being my friend. I will remember you for the rest of my life!
