I will miss Katherine. I will miss her fierce advocacy in court. I will miss her wry sense of humor and I will miss her complete impatience with idiots, malingerers, hangers-on, blowhards, and all the crap that may come your way in life. She had no time for it, she had no patience for it, and she would not put up with it.....and you shouldn’t either! I will miss our morning chats, as we often passed each other–she often on her way to the office, and I on my way to court. She was funny and timely and bright and to the point and did not suffer fools. I loved her take on life and the pursuit of happiness and contentment and being the best one could be. We have suffered a great loss of a wonderful friend and cohort. My condolences to her family, all of whom she loved and spoke so proudly of.

Katherine has been a dear friend for more than 30 years. Although I only saw her once a year after she moved away from Watertown, our summer gatherings were always a highlight of each year. I have always enjoyed Katherine's great wit and intelligent conversation. I am so glad our group was able to spend time with her in August. It will be a treasured memory. We will continue to remember her as our annual tradition continues. She will be truly missed. My condolences to her family.

As an attorney at the Monroe County Law Department, I had many occasions to see and work with Katherine. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her terminal illness and her passing. I actually had a case with her recently... I now know it must have been one of her last court appearances. She was a terrific advocate for her clients. She will be missed. Very sorry to hear of Katherine's passing. We had been praying for her during her illness. She was an excellent attorney, and a great child advocate. Her child clients will miss her. As we all will.

My Heart is broken and I am Numb .... I named my daughter after Katherine and had tons of love and respect for Katherine !! I am Sad I wasn't able to say good bye! I promised her because she never had Children of her own she asked me "Will you come see me and take me out when I am old and in a nursing home" Katherine if I KNEW you were sick I would have been there for you! My heart is Broken !!!!!!!!!!! Rest in Peace Katherine! I am soooo Sorry!
