I did not meet Ben, but reading of the enthusiasm and passion with which he pursued his sporting interests and academic life, you must be very proud of him.

I met Ben when he was an intern here at HV West Groton RD.I had the pleasure of training Ben in the various RD procedures used in the evaluation and creating products.
I was impressed with his desire and compassion he had for learning everything about papermaking.
He will be missed but I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet such a fine individual.

Oh, dear Ben... What an amazing and special person and what a remarkable life. I feel so lucky that I got to know him and all of you, his loving family, at our TLC Randolph Campus. He is part of our community, and his death leaves us with so much sorrow. Antoine de Saint-Exupery wrote this that came to mind today, "Look up! In one of those stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night. I remember Ben from a decade ago, when he was an EDCO student at Day Middle School. He was an inquisitive, intelligent, and nice young man. I am saddened by his death at such an early age. My heart goes out to his family who were so supportive and loving.
