I’m very sorry to hear that Mr. Andrus has passed away. I’m a former student of his in the Brighton schools. He gave me a great appreciation for jazz. I think of him often when I listen to the jazz greats (Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, Art Blakey to name three) who he enjoyed so much.

Donna and I are so saddened to learn of Dave's passing. We have wonderful memories of trips to Germany and Dave's great musicianship and sense of humor. His thermos bottle joke is still one of my favorites. We will be out of town and unable to attend the calling hours but please know of our concern and sympathy.
