My condolences go out to the Spring family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else who was fortunate enough to have been able to meet and be a part of Randy's life. I am the younger brother of Richard Lopez, who considered Randy not only his former co-worker, but his best friend and brother. I was fortunate enough to have been able to spend time with Randy whenever I was up in Rochester from Florida. Randy was a great man that would do anything for anyone, had a heart of gold, and will truly be missed. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Spring family. You have suffered a tragic loss that is surely difficult to bear losing Randy at such a very young age. He was just starting to write a new chapter in his life after his 25 years of service in the Sheriff's Department. I first met Randy about 1994 as I knew several other Deputies that I had befriended. Although I was not in the Sheriff's department I found Randy to be a very easy going person that could easily converse on a number of topics, especially golf. A kind, pleasant and friendly man who could get along with anyone. Full of fun and vitality as well as a good listener. I'd always be able to talk to him and always came away learning something new.
Once again my most sincere condolences go out to the entire Spring family at this most difficult time. You can take great comfort in the coming time to reflect on the great memories you have shared with Randy.

Dear Rand, you always said I was your best friend, we spent so many days together, lunches and dinners and with fami,y and friends, they all are saddened and want your family to know how deeply the mourn and such sorrow for your loved ones. October 27 2013 we were eating at Din's original the summer you moved in and my dog just came over and smiled and you were hooked, you lived Neve and he loved you. Just can't thank you enough for the care you gave him, he will be so sad going to the house and not seeing you at the side door and hiding treats in your pocket for him to find. You were loved and will always be loved and Matthew and David and Pablo and families from Spain and Italy all are saddened you are now an angel patrolling the skies and smiling. I will never forget you and my heart is broken it will never be the same. Until we see each other again you are embraced by the Lord our father in heaven as you were his creation and will be nurtured in your new home as you were nurtured on earth by your devoted and loving parents.
