Obituary of Matthew M. VanValkenburg

On October 28, 2016 at the age of 73. Predeceased by beloved companion, May Pimm. Survived by his daughter Kimberly (Robert) Maki and 6 grandchildren, his sisters, Susan (James) Lill, Sally (Melvin) Premo, Mabel (Gerald) Beers and brother, Robert. Matthew was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Post Office. He enjoyed music and dancing and for a time was a DJ. He later became an ardent collector and seller at the Avon Flea Market. Family and friends are invited to call, SATURDAY, November 5th, 10-12 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremations Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd S). Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Followed by a celebration of his life, for family and friends.
