Obituary of Frederick J. Bedet, Sr.

Frederick J., Bedet, Sr. Passed away November 15, 2016 at age 94. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sylvia (Hoffarth) Bedet; children, Frederick J. (Barbara) Bedet, Jr., JoAnne Bedet Reitter; grandchildren, Frederick J. Bedet, III, Michael J. Bedet, Alissa M. Reitter, Lindsay A. Reitter; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Fred was a proud Army Veteran of WWII and a retiree of Standard Register after 46 years. He was an avid outdoorsmen, especially hunting and fishing. The family would like to offer special thanks to the Highland Hospital East-& staff and to VNS Hospice for their loving care. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family and friends are invited to call on MONDAY, November 21st from 11AM - 1PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South, where funeral services will follow in the Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 PM. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, New York 14450.
