Obituary of Ian James DeLaPorte

DeLaPorte, Ian James "Lan La Porte" Born January 10, 1986, passed away November 20, 2016. Ian continues on his spiritual path, joining his father, Glenn Boetcher; grandparents, Glynn and Sue Kirchner; cousin, Nicholle Bristol at the peaceful place. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Kirchner Boetcher (T. Ragonese); brothers, Scott Alan Brown, Brandon (Melissa) DeLaPorte; nephew, Eli DeLaPorte; aunts, Karen (Kevin) Foran, Amy Kirchner (P. Brown), Susan (Steve) Weiner, cousins and a multitude of loving friends, especially Sandor Vegh and Jeni Mulvaney. Ian loved scuba diving and was a published photographer as well as an excellent golfer.He spread "love and light" wherever he went. Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. So.) on SUNDAY (11/27/16) from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. His celebration of life service will be held on MONDAY (11/28/16) at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Ascension Gardens Cemetery (1900 Pinnacle Road).
