Obituary of Wonza F. Brown

Wonza F. Brown Passed away December 22, 2016 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her former husband Leroy Brown; parents, Theodore and Louise Johnson; son, Father Robert Brown; and siblings, Hattie, Ted and David. Survived by her loving niece Joanne Mitchell-McLaren, her son, Ralph (Elaine) Brown; sisters, Velma, Marie, Martha, Mary and brother, Leonard; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Wonza worked 45 years at Artco Laundries in Rochester, NY. She was a long time member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid fisher, and loved life to its fullest. She was a giving person, and never met a stranger. Family and friends may call Tuesday January 3rd from 10-11 AM at In Christ New Hope Ministry, 155 Pinnacle Rd, Henrietta, NY, 14623. Wonza’s memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Wonza’s memory.
