Obituary of William P. McCarrick

McCarrick, William P. "Bill" Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at age 89. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemary (Lyons) McCarrick; brother, Thomas McCarrick; parents, Thomas & Theresa McCarrick. He is survived by his children, Erin McCarrick, William P. (Krista) McCarrick, Jr.; grandchildren, Finlay and William P. McCarrick, III; sister, Mary Holahan and many nieces and nephews. A native of Rochester, Bill was a graduate of the Aquinas Institute, the University of Rochester, and a US Navy Veteran of WWII. Bill had a long successful career as a corporate executive spanning over 40 years, which took him and his family to live in Brazil, Mexico and England. His time spent abroad fueled his passion for history, music and theater. A private interment service will be held for the family and a public Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
