Bill would like to extend a sincere thank you to Hannah, Taylor & Rebekah for their kind, compassionate and loving care of Patti.
Patti left this life just as she lived it; quietly, gently, peacefully never wanting to or actually hurting another living soul. The one thing I want to share with everyone about her amazing life was her desire to help and care for others. In the end of 1994 Patti lost a job as a Graphic Artist. She became stressed and found Deeanne Bevin who helped Patti through Acupuncture. Patti came home and told me she now knew what she needed to do with the rest her life, age 43. Patti researched what she would have to do, but of course first she convinced me to get a treatment also, she wanted me on board and I was. Patti then had the humility to attend MCC and when we moved to Albuquerque, NM she attended another Junior College to complete necessary classes to attend the International Institute of Chinese Medicine. After nine semesters of 21-23 graduate credit hours she graduated (one B+ which I insisted we celebrate, you can imagine what all her other grades were). We came home and Patti worked so hard and founded Peaceful Spirit Acupuncture. She loved helping and supporting others especially the elderly and less fortunate. Patti was/is the most amazing woman I have ever known.
December 22 Patti called me to her side (spiritually) and asked me to hold her hand, kiss her face as she let her last breath go. Patti knew what I needed the most in that moment since I could not keep her here any longer.
Your sweet beautiful smile that could light up a room and elicit a smile from others instantly, your soft caring touch were exactly how I fell in love with you. I love you my sweet girl and always will. You’re “Billy-Boy”
A celebration of Patti's life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11 AM in the Henrietta United Church of Christ, 1400 Lehigh Station Road. A luncheon will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
