Obituary of Christine M. Smith

Suddenly January 2, 2017 at age 55. Predeceased by her parents, Janet and Charles McCarthy; brother, Christopher McCarthy. Survived by her husband David; children, Matthew, Samantha; brothers, Joseph (Pamela) McCarthy, Michael (Ellen) McCarthy; mother in-law Janet Breen; sisters in-law, Nancy (Gene) Jackson, Susan (Michael) Schrader, Erin (Jerry) Baylor, many nieces nephews and friends. Chris graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Early Childhood Education, most recently working at The MCC Childhood Center. She has been a preschool teacher for 30 years. She has made a positive impact on countless children’s lives. She loves cooking, walks on the beach, and above all spending time with her family.
