Obituary of Laverne H. "Jake" Wilkins

Laverne H. Wilkins "Jake" Passed away on January 6, 2017 at age 94. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty of 52 years; great-grandson, Levi. He is survived by his children, James (Mary) Wilkins, Judy (Norb) Benson, Jacqueline (Pat) Harrington, Joyce (Floyd) Schlosser, Jerry (Carol) Wilkins; special friend, Patricia Cranmer; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Jake was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Family and friends are invited to call on TUESDAY, January 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Jake's Funeral Service will be held on WEDNESDAY, January 11th at 10AM in the Rush United Methodist Church, 6200 Rush-Lima Road. Interment, Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rush Fire Dept.
