Obituary of Jerry Lou Raleigh

January 9, 2017. Predeceased by brothers, James Weaver & Andrew May. Survived by daughter, Billie Jo Smith; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Smith; long-time dear friend, Mary-Lynn Bender; many friends within her faith community. Jerry Lou was one of the original founders of the Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford; a counselor with the Billy Graham Evangelical Ministries; Magnificat; Catholic Charismatic Renewal; liaison between the Renewal and the Bishop of Rochester, and active in the Ministry of Hope and Healing with Father Richard McAlear. Family and friends may call FRIDAY from 12-1 at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Ave., 14624, where Jerry Lou's Memorial Mass will follow at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the U of R Cancer Center, a Christian or Jewish Charity of your choice.
