Oh, Usha and Sunu, and of course Rohit, I find myself inadequate to express how sorry I am to hear about this loss.
A most dignified and dignified-looking lady, Prema's soft, unassuming demeanor belied her aristocratic bearing and upbringing. Beautiful. That was Prema. I'll be sure to pass on this to Philipochayan (and family), her brothers Padmakumar and Krishnakumar's best friend from Thiruvananthapuram. As somebody wrote in an earlier post, she's resting with the angels.
The death of a parent at any age, and to any illness, can be one tough thing to deal with, because it’s their nurturing that makes us, us.
May God’s peace which is far beyond human understanding, keep your hearts and minds safe,
and may a lifetime of fond memories sustain you.

Remembering Mrs Bhaskar as a very gentle, graceful and caring person. I have now moved out of Rochester but remember her coming to all GRAMNY events even when she was not keeping well. My thought goes out to Mr. Bhaskar and family members. Heartfelt condolences. Praying for her soul.

Dear Ambat uncle - We are truly very sorry for your loss. We can understand how difficult it must be for you and your family at this hour. Prema aunty was such a sweet soul and we will always cherish the conversations and good times we have had. I am so glad that I could meet her in India last year where her strong will and attitude stood out.
While we will not be in Rochester for the gathering planned on January 13th, we wanted to let you and the family know that our prayers are always with you. We will miss Prema aunty dearly. May God bless her kind soul.

It is with great sadness that we learned about Prema’s departure. Yes; she was ill but we did not think that the illness would eventually succumb her so soon.
Prema was a member of our extended family in Rochester for the past four decades- a member who was always a part in events, family gatherings and telephone calls extending good cheer all the time. She was a peer as well as a ‘chechi.’ It is an understatement to say that she would be missed.
Words do not describe our sadness adequately. The consolation is that she is in a good place and with her cheerful disposition, she is smiling on us.
We are in India and will miss the gathering on January 13th. Prema will be in our thoughts and prayers forever. Our condolences go to Dr. Bhaskar and children as they struggle to deal with a world without such a beautiful soul as Prema.
