Very sorry to hear of Elmer's passing. He was my supervisor at Kodak that treated me fairly and was respectful. He used to crack jokes and was funny. I remember that he used to sell small radios and many Kodakers used to buy them from him. May he Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I remember yr dad always puttering around the house and fixing it up. I remember his hearty laugh. I remember him fondly talking about his family. I remember him coming to city hall regarding any problem he had and he would ask for me, saying, "she's the only one who know's what the heck's going on here. I am sorry for your loss.

To all my family, We loved our Uncle Elmer! He was so close to my Dad, My Dad admired him more than anyone else I believe. He always was kind, sweet, and very thoughtful when my Dad was passing. I always thought it was a touch odd that they were so close until I had my Nephew Nick, Now I completely get it. Uncle Elmer was a tough, grouchy Man who had to have everything his way. The one thing that stands out the most about him is how much he loved my Aunt Ruth and my Dad. I will miss running into him at various restaurants and hearing the stories of my Dad's younger years. I just recently found out that my Dad lived with Pa and Ma (Uncle Elmers parents) and they lived as Brothers. Therefore the bond now makes sense. I love you all BettyLou, Joanne, Luann, and Cindilou. God Bless my Family
