Obituary of Julian D. Zielinski
Entered eternal rest on February 12, 2017 at age 98. Predeceased by his wife, Lillian Malinowski Zielinski; parents, Stanley and Josephine; sisters, Stella Szymanski, Sophie Kingdom and Anne Surman. He is survived by sons, Gary (Emily) of Canandaigua, Daniel of Jefferson, NY; daughters, Rose Ann of Henrietta and Pamela (Dan) Donnelly of Minnesota; grandchildren, Jessica of Henrietta and SSGT Theodore (Julie) of the USAF; also brothers, Bruno (Dorothy) of Batavia, NY, Frank (Jane) of Elba, NY; sisters, Martha Tierney of North Tonawanda, NY, Jenny Seager of Albion, NY, Helen (Clarence) Klinkbeil of Leroy, NY and Mary George of Batavia, NY; brother-in-law, Louis Malin of Concord, CA; many nieces and nephews.
Dad was born in Lackawanna, NY. He spent his formative years in Elba, NY. He served in WWII, with the NY Army National Guard, fighting in Europe. He was a member of the "Battle of the Bulge" group. After he married, he lived in Batavia, NY. He worked at Sylvania, becoming the lead troubleshooter on the color TV line. When Sylvania left, Dad obtained his Associate Degree in Model Making and worked at Chapin Manufacturing. After they retired, Mom and Dad moved to Henrietta
Family and friends may call SUNDAY, 1-5 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Julian's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, MONDAY, 10 AM. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a Veteran's charity of your choice or Masses offered.
