Obituary of Harold J. Weather

On February 27, 2017 at age 96. predeceased by his parents Olive and Andrew; sisters, Bette (Bob) Braun and Joan (Don) Merriam. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Margaret H. Weather; children, Jack (Alice) Weather, Christine (John) McCormick and Glenn (Laurie) Weather; grandchildren, Eric (Anne Marie) Weather, Jennifer (Rob) Freese, Courtney (Brian) Maxwell, Margaret McCormick; great-grandchildren Katelyn, Robbie, Brody and Kuyler; brother, Donald Weather and sisters, Dorothy (Rod) Deeb, MaryJane Sherlock & Shirley Weather. He was a loving and generous father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Bud retired as the Supervisor of Field Services at the Rochester Gas and Electric where he worked 46 years. He was a decorated US Army veteran of WWII where he proudly served as a Sergeant in the Combat Engineers in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign. Bud was a Past Noble Grand of the International Order of Odd Fellows . The oldest of 7 children, he was a true farm boy at heart, he loved his garden and being outdoors, he was an avid sportsman and a life long Yankee Fan. Special thanks to the Teresa House Hospice in Geneseo NY for their wonderful care and support during his last days. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S) were a Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.
