My deepest condolences to everyone in Joshua's family, and to all of his friends and to anyone that had the privilege of spending any time with him. I had known Josh since 6th grade, and although we hadn't spoke in quite some time, I have, on many occasions, caught myself laughing at the ridiculous things we did. He was a brilliantly complex individual that would challenge my perspective often. He was accepting of others and open to willingly stray from his comfort zone (i.e. the ** "other side"), and was himself accepted in return; certainly a result of his warm disposition. He was a comic, a storyteller, an inspiration. He was competitive and determined. He was curious and intuitive. He was this and so much more. He was someone with whom I had the pleasure of sharing so many wonderful, exciting, adventurous times in my life, and now living on as fond memories...He was my friend. You will be missed. May we meet again. God Bless and Rest In Peace my Brother.

I'm deeply sadden by the loss of such a beautiful light in this otherwise dim world. While Josh and I have not spoken in many years, he has never been far from my mind. I can only hope that you find some solace, in knowing what a legacy of love he left behind. Many of us were deeply touched by his giving spirit. The distance of the years have not lessoned the pain of losing him too early in this life. -Rest easy my beloved friend you are much loved and now much missed...

Dear David & Janie --- I know there are no words that can begin to diminish the loss and sorrow you folks are enduring. Such sad times, in a variety of ways during our lives, seem to be of a part of our common human experience. Now and with the passage of time, let your oldest son's passing be an ever present reminder of what a gift each day of life is for all of us. Please accept our thoughts, prayers and support from your extended family of Berlin: Gee & Betsy Williams

It was so sad hearing that Josh had died. Josh was a good person with an open heart. Even through his own struggles in life he always seemed to be worring about others, a trait that made him special and a great loss to his family and friends.
