I am saddened to hear of Roger's passing. He is a long time dedicated friend of amateur radio and a dear friend of all those who participated in public service events. I will miss Roger at about every public service event that I attend.

Met Roger when I was a Volunteer Firefighter. When I became a Dispatcher with the Henrietta Fire District, I would still see him on a regular basis when he would come to service or repair our radio equipment. I always enjoyed talking with him.

Roger, you will sincerely be missed. You were a great friend and I enjoyed working with you on all the public service events like STPR, Walnut Hill, Empire State Games and of course the LPGA. May you rest in piece my friend.

Rest in peace old friend. I met Roger in 1969 and he became a lifelong friend. He was always there to lend a hand in many of the things we were both involved in. He devoted his life to service to the community through the Fire Department, Amateur Radio Clubs and LPGA Tournaments.
He will be missed.
