Vincent J. Mazza
Passed away on April 27, 2017 at the age 97. Predeceased by his parents, Michelangelo and Teresa; brother, Louis; sisters, Elise Tosti, Ida Aceto, Concetta Cerame, Eleanor DiMatteo. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Antoinetta; children, Vincent (Pat), Ronald (Karen), Patricia (Gary) Smith, Anne (Robert) Tedrow, Theresa (Richard) Calcagno; grandchildren, John, Antonia, Amy, Todd (Erica), Jason, Joshua (Jacqueline), Samuel, Robert (Priscilla), Abbey (Anthony), Richard, Vincent and Joseph; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Dr. Michael (Glenda) Mazza, Nicholas (Caterena) Mazza; sister, Teresa (Art) LaPietra; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Vince was co-owner of Thriftway Super Market with partner and brother in-law Harry Aceto for 35 years. Vince was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Force with battles in the Tunisian, Egypt-Libya, Sicilian, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno and China Burma campaigns. Vince was a past President of the St. Agnes High School Parents Club.
Friends and family may call Tuesday, May 2nd from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Rd. S. Vince's Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 3rd at 10AM in St. Anne Church, 1600 Mt. Hope Ave. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
