We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. It was good to see him in Puerto Rico at that military reunion. Lots of stories to tell our wives and children. We hope he is finally at peace.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Mr. Hodges while growing up on Strawberry Hill. My fondest memories are of the BIG MAN that would play catch with all us kids on his front lawn every night, Jimmy, Joey, Amiel, Mike, Tommy, Me. The deer hanging every fall, and the turkey every spring! He is the reason I started enjoying the outdoors and have become such an avid sportsman. At first glance, a big scary man turned out to be a kind, caring role model for a bunch of kids in the neighborhood while growing up. I am blessed I was able to spend time with Mr. Hodges. I'm sure he will be truly missed.

Mr hodges was the most influential man in my life. From baseball in the backyard to hunting. I am the man I am today because of his influence. I will never forget the day he walked up to the henrietta town park to watch me pitch my very first baseball game. He stood behind the backstop and told me how to strike him out like a true coach and father figure all the way upto just a couple.of years ago I took him for a ride in my car and did a burn out. He always use to say " michael, u ain't right, but I love ya anyway" I will cherish the recent times I would stop over and sit in the living room with jany and hodge and just talk. Growing up next door to them and all the memories I will never let go of. Some of the best times in my life. Thank you hodge..
