Joseph J. Mileo

Pittsford: Passed away on May 2, 2017 at age 97. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jane Mileo; children, Elaine Jackson, Steve (Sheena) Mileo, JoEll (Patrick) Cunningham; grandchildren, Matthew, Tara, Sabrina, Danica & Audrey; sister, Catherine Chiaramonte; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Joseph was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving 4 years in the Aviation Engineering Corp. He enlisted in 1942 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain in February of 1946; surviving over 2 ½ years in the India, China and Burma Theatre's. Joseph was a graduate of Niagara University, he had an extensive career in the building supplies business, construction, land development and real estate as the founder of Berkshire Development.

No Prior Calling Hours. Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday, May 8th at 11 AM in Saint Louis Church, 64 South Main Street, Pittsford. Entombment to follow with Military Honors at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint's Place, 46 South Main Street, Pittsford, New York 14534.
