Obituary of Estelle Pfetsch

Estelle Pfetsch, age 97 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away, May 1, 2017 at The Hurlbut care community in Rochester, NY.

Born June 19, 1919 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Martin and Margaret (Peterkin) Stever and was the wife of the Late Reginald Pfetsch.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Richard P. Britton of Rochester, NY and David W. Britton of Bolivia, NC & 2 daughters in law, Virginia (Ginny) Britton and Amberleen Britton.

She is also survived by 3 grandchildren:  David M Britton (East Amherst NY), Keith Britton (Rochester, NY), Daileen M. Britton (Cumming, GA) and 6 great- grandchildren:  Zane Britton (Kenmore, NY), Joshua Britton (Las Vegas, NV), Vanessa Ludwig (East Amherst, NY), Maguire Schippmann, Ramsey Schippmann, Maverick Schippmann (all in Cumming, GA.)

She was always active in her community church - Pierce Ave Presbyterian, Niagara Falls, NY for better than 50 years and then for 9 years with Southport Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport, NC.

The family would especially like to thank all the staff at The Hurlbut for the kind and loving care they gave to our precious mother/grandmother/great grandmother. 

We will forever miss Her, Her Love, Wit, Smile and Laughter.

A graveside celebration of her life will be held on Friday June 16th at 11:30 AM at the Riverdale Cemetery, 5605 Old Lewiston Rd, Lewiston, NY 14092.
