There are no words to say to express the emptiness inside of me. Kevin and I worked together at Haverstick. In fact, he and I both left twice and came back twice and both the leaving and coming back were within a week of one another. Our friendship was immediate as he was "Real" and that's what I loved most. Never had to wonder what he was thinking as he'd tell me and I'd tell him. He came to The Hurlbut Nursing Home with me to visit my Mom and that in itself was amazing to me. That was "Real Friendship" as far as I'm concerned. Whenever he and I were down and one of us called the other, rest assured, we'd end up laughing and feeling so much better afterwards. He had a "Trapped Mind" meaning he remembered everything. I remember asking him at one time where I was working in a particular year as I was rewriting my resume and couldn't think of it myself. Without hesitation, he told me where "I was" at that time. Wow right? Well, if you think that was something, here's something I will never forget. I could name an record album, such as "The Beatles White Album" and he could tell me what song was on which side and the length of it as well. Those were just a couple of the amazing things I can say about Kevin, but the most precious one is that I am very blessed to have had him as a friend for all of these years. I will never get over the fact that I missed saying good-bye to him, but I know he knows how I feel about him and he will be watching down on me and forever in my heart. "Oye Oye" Kevin - RIP Sweet Friend - Please forgive me for not being there. "Thank You For Being My Friend." God Bless You. Written With Much Love & A Shattered Heart xoxo Condolences to his entire family and friends.

To my big brother and only brother, this still not has set in but I know it will. The memories are flooding my head right now. You always took care of me. I learned how to ride a bike and Dawn would push me off lol but you were always the one that encouraged me to get right back up.The camping trips, holidays, the birth of all 3 of my babies. There is NO one on this earth that could have ever not loved you. And knowing that you are so familiar with my new place of employment I feel like you will show me around somehow! My kids adored you you just like everyone else. Your sense of humor without even trying to be funny will always be with me. I love you Kev we all a have a beautiful guardian angel watching over us. You have your hands full now my brother its not going to be an easy job but you got this.Hugs to Mom and Dad and everyone else you are seeing up there. Til we meet again!!!

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from spending time with Heather and Uncle Kevin. He was a kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor. He was always generous, friendly, and willing to do anything to help another person or to make them smile. Uncle Kevin will be greatly missed.
