I was so sorry to see that Linda passed away. I didn't know her well, but had some contact with her through the Rochester International Council (now Rochester Global Connections). She was such a big help doing the layout for the newsletters, and of course she hosted many international students. I was so glad to see that she was recognized for this work in her obituary. Please accept my sincere sympathy for Linda.

Bernie,
This is Di Wang, one of the international students you and Linda hosted during 2008-2010 in Rochester, NY.
I am so sorry to learn the passing away of Linda. She was so kind and special. I still remember that you and Linda brought me to a line-dance class, and Linda taught me how to dance and danced with me all night long because I wasn't confident to find other dance mates. After I left Rochester for Florida, I kept email conversations with Linda. I remember in one of the emails, she kindly and patiently taught me how to get along with a cat. So many good memories with Linda. I will miss her. She will be missed forever.
Bernie, I am so sorry for your loss. Please take care. God bless you.
My Sincere Condolence,
Di Wang

My memories of Mrs. O'Connor are from over 30 years ago, but I remember her kindness. She welcomed me into her home when I was a child. I pray that both she and her family have peace in the grace of our amazing God.

Dear Bernard,
We are very sorry to hear that your wife Linda passed away.
Both of you had a very positive influence on my daughter Anna at a time when it was very important for her and her personal development. I am very grateful about this - thank you again for all you and Linda did for her.
All the best from Germany and we hope that you have friends and family at your side in such a difficult time.
