Obituary of Wendy B. Dever

Passed away on July 6, 2017, at the age, 58 with her family by her side. She was born on October 17, 1958 to James and Barbara Baars; both have predeceased her. She is survived and will be forever missed by her loving husband of 12 years, Dr. David Dever; her step-children, David (Jess) Dever, II, Meghan Dever, Daniel (Margaux Stein) Dever and Connor Dever; grandsons, Tyler and Emerson; sisters, Jo (Eusebio) Guasca and Tracy Karmer; best friend, Leigh Ann Schon as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Wendy took immense pleasure as a golf enthusiast, donating her time and talents to various committees, boards and tournaments at Penfield Country Club. She also took delight in entertaining where her culinary skills could be savored by her family and friends. Her Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption (20 East Ave. Fairport NY 14450) on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Interment to follow in White Haven Memorial Park. In honor of Wendy, friends and loved ones may make donations to the Lt William P. Dever, Jr. Scholarship Fund at St. John Fisher College.
