Love this family photo. I was about 14 years old when the boys were born and needless to say I became the baby sitter which I truly enjoyed. Have lots of fond memories of Joel growing up.
Joel you'll be missed by us but never forgotten
Love from us your cousin.

Rest in Peace Our Sweet Joel
We will miss you! I really got to know you from Marc and you were a TRUE and BEST friend to him. It will never be the same not hearing Joel's voice on the phone. I will miss the late nights when Marc and Joel would talk for hours on the phone, planning the next day to fish and planning fishing trips, shopping online for fishing equipment.
Every time something mechanical went wrong Joel would be the first person to call. We would always go into Gander Mountain and we would buy fishing shirts and hats for Joel and he would be so happy to wear them. I hope you are catching big fish up there in Heaven.

Rest in peace dear Joel, where the fish still swim, the birds fly high and your shoes can be found perfectly placed side by side at heavens door.

Joel was quiet (most of the time). He was a great fisherman, fantastic water skier and all around good guy. He will be missed by a legion of friends.God speed, Joel. I hope there are barefoot boats and calm waters waiting for you.

Joel left my son Aaron and I with a huge hole in our life.
Aaron caught the 1st 1,000 fish in his life while fishing with Joel and I.
He loved to pursue all wild things and treasured his trophies with mounts that decorated his house.
He would spend countless hours photographing and logging his photos to observe later.
I find it hard to imagine going forward without him here to share stories with and analyze outdoor anomalies for the future.
His intuitive ability to spot mechanical problems and fix them was also uncanny.
Words won't express how much he will be missed!

Words can not express my grief. Joel was one of the kindest most helpful individuals I've ever met. He was ALWAYS putting others before himself! He was so much fun to be around. We spent so many hours on the water together on Long Pond water skiing during the week and on Seneca Lake on the weekends. As I think back to all of the "crazy" things we did and the stories, my tears turn to laughter! He loved to joke around and would do anything to make people smile! He may have been 58 years old but was young at heart! He will be missed!
