I'm sure I am going to surprise quite a few people with this letter. But I am not writing this to belittle your memory or dishonor anyone.
I am just finding out now that you had passed, and I deeply regret not taking the time to at least meet my father face to face. The conversations over the phone never seemed to really bring any closure so I made the decision not to follow through with a personal meeting. A decision I deeply regret now. I'm sorry and I hope that God has a plan for us in his divine plan to come. Though I know you wont read this I really wish that I had a chance to tell you about the so many accomplishments in my life and be able to possibly share in yours. In closing may Christ accept you with open arms so that we may some day have that face to face after all.

Tom and I have kept in touch over many years. He was my favorite cousin and I spent many happy times at the Lake with Uncle Fred, Aunt Pink, Tom and Barb. They were all a wonderful family. I only today discovered that Tom had died and I can't tell you how sad this makes me. To all his family...he was the best. God will welcome him with open arms.
Love and sweetest sympathy,
Linda

I came to know Tom during the past few years upon moving back to Rochester. He quickly became one of the pillars of strength for me: his courage, wisdom, serenity, and encouragement always inspired me, and others. Among his legacies is one of the greatest one can leave: helping countless others. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tom and I co-sponsored each other on and off thru the years...and needless to say he has been my HERO....for many differenrt reasons...Recently, he asked me to paint him a picture of a red barn which is now in the process of being completed in his honor...I've also included boats and water because I know how much he enjoyed being close to it...I'll bring a picture of it to the funeral for the family to have if you wish?????
Please accept my sincere condolences ...your dad was one Fine Man and quite a role model for the rest of us in the program....

Dear Janet and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Tom's death.
Although, I only met Tom a couple of times, I thought of him as a very fine man.
I was very impressed by his commitment to others and by what I saw as a deep inner serenity.
My love and my thoughts and prayers are with you Janet, Tom Dragon and all of your family.
